Over the past few days we have been discussing how candidates can develop and maintain their English skills over the coming weeks and possibly months of uncertainty.

We have received a number of requests from Fiji-based candidates asking if we can organise travel dates to Fiji to conduct ISLPR tests.
We require all interested candidates to register their interest on our website so that we can monitor the demand. Once we gauge interest and believe there is enough interest to warrant travel, we will schedule test dates in Fiji.
Please be aware that, as per our PPTC Guidelines, we require a minimum if 20-25 candidates to warrant travel overseas.
We have received a number of requests from Perth-based candidates asking us when we will be traveling to Perth to conduct ISLPR tests. While we do not have a set date yet, we are requesting Perth-based candidates to submit their expression of interest (EOI) below. Once we gauge interest we will schedule test dates in Perth.
A full ISLPR® test is a two-part test that examines all four macro-skills (i.e., speaking, listening, reading and writing). The first part of the test is a one hour interview where your speaking, listening and reading skills will be assessed. The second part of the test is a one hour writing test.
The ISLPR® test is currently accepted by the New Zealand Teacher Registration Board. Why choose the ISLPR® test? The ISLPR® test is a personalised English test that focuses on your background and needs when formulating the content of the test. Each test is individually prepared by your tester to ensure the content is relevant to you e.g. a teacher might be asked in the writing test to write a letter to a parent explaining why their child was given a detention.
